It is also intended to inform the general public and better serve the disadvantaged and underserved citizens in South Florida.

Mission Statement

The Center of Information & Orientation, Inc. is a non-profit and tax-exempt 501 (c)(3) Community-Based Organization, created in 1996 to provide social and educational services, first to immigrants in little Haiti, and later to people of all ethnic groups throughout Miami-Dade County.

The Center's mission is to implement strategies improving the quality of life to low-income residents via access to services such as: literacy, family strengthening, youth leadership, delinquency prevention, health and wellness, and emergency food and shelter assistance, leading to self-sufficiency and economic stability.
